Step 1

Connect the power adapter to the Ethernet switch to power it up.

Step 2

Any of the Ethernet ports of the switch can function as an uplink. Connect any port to the Ethernet (LAN) port of your router using an Ethernet cable.

Perfect for extra ethernet port

I found this ethernet hub/switch very useful specially if you have too many ethernet cable running through the modem, and with this it can make it clean install. It has no fan needed as it dissipate heat through the casing, which is I preferred. I will recommend it.

Just what I needed to link my routers using 2.5gb ports

I have 3 routers that are able to connect via 2.5gb, as well as my PC. I just plugged this and connected the devices - and that was it. The routers and PC all show they are connected via 2.5gb. I have not tested the 25gb switching capacity - but I have no doubt that this switch is perfect for what I need.

Setup as with many things ethernet was quick and simple, simply swapping cables from the old box to the new and powering up.
